Porus Serial प्राचीन भारत के राजा पोरस के जीवन पर आधारित है जिसका राज्य झेलम नदी और चेनाब नदी के बीच के क्षेत्र में फैला हुआ था। ये दोनो नदिया वर्तमान समय में पाकिस्तान में स्थित है। यानि कि राजा पोरस का राज्य वर्तमान पाकिस्तान में स्थित था।
Serial की कहानी 350 ईसापूर्व यानि कि आज से 2367 साल पहले शुरू होती है। शुरू में सिकंदर और पोरस का जन्म होता है। सिकंदर (Alexander The Great) युनान (Greece, ग्रीक) का राजा है जो बड़ा होने पर सारी दुनिया को जीतने का सपना रखता है।
अपने विजयी अभियान के तहत सिकंदर भारत तक आ पहुँचता है। तक्षशिला और अभिसार के राजा सिकंदर की अधीनता स्वीकार कर लेते है जबकि पोरस उसके सामने घुटने टेकने से मना कर देता है।
इसके बाद सिकंदर और पोरस का युद्ध होता है जिसे युनानी ‘Battle of the Hydaspes’ कहते हैं। इस युद्ध में सिकंदर को पोरस से कड़ी टक्कर मिली थी, जिसके बाद उसके सैनिकों के हौसले टूट गए और उन्होंने पूरे भारत को जीतने का सपना छोड़ दिया।

Indoxyl sulphate is one of what are known as “uraemic toxins”. Uraemic toxins are poisonous substances which are produced by the cat’s own body every day and are immediately excreted via the kidneys.
